Xelera POS: how we built a point-of-sale system with electronic invoicing for Peru
Xelera POS is the sales system we designed, built and run ourselves. It is designed for convenience stores, minimarkets, restaurants and shops in Peru to sell, issue electronic receipts and invoices, track inventory and balance their cash drawer.

The problem
Many counter-service businesses in Peru still keep records in a notebook or a spreadsheet. They can't tell how much they sold today without counting by hand, inventory doesn't match what's on the shelf, and issuing electronic receipts feels like a separate chore.
Existing systems were either expensive and hard to get started with, or stopped working right when the internet went down — which, in many neighborhoods, happens often.
What we built
A system that opens in the browser on a phone, tablet or PC and brings together sales, SUNAT electronic receipts and invoices, inventory, store credit and the cash drawer, for businesses with one or several locations.
We designed it to keep selling when the internet goes down: sales are saved on the device and upload automatically when the connection comes back, and pending receipts and invoices are issued at that point.
The Xelera Asistente Android app rounds it out, printing to thermal receipt printers over Bluetooth, Wi-Fi or USB: a business without a computer can sell and print from a phone or tablet.
How we run it
Xelera POS isn't a project we delivered and walked away from: we run it every day. We handle the servers, backups, sending receipts to SUNAT and support for the businesses that use it, and we ship improvements continuously.
That day-to-day operation is what we bring to our clients' projects: we know what it takes to keep a system running, not just to build it.
What this case says about how we work
- We start from the business problem, not the technology.
- We design for real conditions: modest devices, unreliable internet, staff without technical training.
- We deliver in phases and improve with real use.
- We build with our own maintainable code, and we take responsibility for running it.
